Bride/Groom Morning Prep (Person 1) - Where are you getting ready and from what time?

Please include postcodes, websites and any directions if necessary. If you are getting ready on site at the venue I typically arrive 2 to 3 hours before the ceremony, spending the first hour capturing the grounds and the venue and filming drone footage. I will confirm my arrival time with you via email after this form is submitted.

Do you have hair and make-up booked in?

Please share rough timings. I would also recommend doing hair and make up in natural light as this makes for the best shots on the day.

What time are you planning on getting in your dress and what time are you leaving for the service?

If you'd like to reveal the dress with family and anyone in your party, I would recommend being in your dress 45mins -1 hr before you are leaving, to give me time to capture everything and also get set up and capture some of the buzz at the ceremony.

Is there anything else in the morning I might need to know?

As there is only 1 of me, I only film person 2 prep if it's within 15 mins of person 1 prep, otherwise logistically it's too difficult with timings. Please include postcodes, website and any directions if necessary.

Are there any readings?

If so please share the peoples names, so I can speak with them just before the ceremony to make sure the audio is captured. What I do is use a little audio recorder, shaped like a kitkat finger and place this onto the physical reading before the ceremony starts. For this reason I would recommend printing the reading or backing the reading onto card and keeping it to 1 single page. Avoid paper, it's just too rustly and flimsy.

Reception location

What are the plans/timings for the reception? What time are things happening - canapés, confetti, group/family photos, any music, couples portraits etc?

The more info and timings here the better.

What time are your guests being called for the wedding breakfast?

Couple portraits, would you like to do this? It will be a short session and will be done alongside the photographer, and typically I love to do this during your reception, just after your group photos or as your guests are being seated for the wedding breakfast. It's my favourite thing to film on the day and it's really relaxed, also if we get a lovely sunset, would you be happy to split this into 2 bits and do some more during golden hour (whatever time sunset is at the time of year you're getting married)?

What time are the speeches?

Are the speeches before or after the wedding breakfast?

Please tell me the names of the people doing speeches, I will mic them up just before they start?

Is there a PA system (a handmic) for the speeches?

What time are your evening guests arriving (leave blank if there isn't any)

Are you cutting a cake and having a first dance? If so, please share these timings with me.

Do you have any evening entertainment planned? Things like band, DJ, photobooth, sparklers, fireworks etc.

Will there be a hot meal provided on the day?

The only time I really stop working during the day is when you sit down to eat. Whilst you don't have to provide anything, a hot meal is always massively appreciated. If you don't wish to provide anything, I will leave site to eat.

How many guests are you having?

Suppliers, please feel free to let me know the names/business names and social media handles of your suppliers.

This is mainly so I know who I'm working with on the day but also who to tag in any content that goes online.
